Leadership & Art Direction: 2022- present

In 2025, I was promoted to Character Concept Supervisor (de facto Art Lead). In 2025-6, I was a mentor for the Concept Art Association’s Mentorship Program.

However, I have been mentoring, managing, and providing feedback to in-house and outsource artists in different capacities since 2022. Below are some examples of my notes, paintovers, and feedback I provided to artists on my teams.

Establishing Style

Over the years, I have been responsible for aligning art teams with the style of a specific game or content release. Below are some examples of graphics created for that purpose.

Paintovers & Feedback

As the Character Concept Supervisor (and previously, as the Senior Artist), I provided Outsource and internal artists with detailed art direction and paintovers. This ranged from design and artistic feedback to technical constraints specific to our game.

Below is a mix of my notes, references, and edits either directly painted over an artist’s drawing or outlined in a contrasting color. These drawings were made by multiple artists from various teams connected to New World: Aeternum.

Moodboards

As the Senior artist in charge of directing Outsource artists on New World: Aeternum, I created elaborate moodboards to align external and internal artists with the theme of each content release. Almost all of these include a painting I created myself to establish tone, color scheme, and style. This was accompanied by notes and reference images.
